Topic of discussion with a few pals led me to find the answer.

Lets say you have an r5 campus and a r5gtt , but the turbo shell is a rot box, and you transfer everything onto the campus shell. If you declare this to DVLA what is the outcome? Does the donor become a registered GTturbo? Or does it become a campus registered with a 1400 lump ?.

depends if you transfer EVERYTHING over.....

if you swapped EVERTHING, what would there be to declare?
if you did declare it then yes a 1400, but no, not a gt turbo. insurance would be more expensive for a modified campus because of the power increase.
