Anybody tell me where the pipe comes from that goes onto this? As mine is not connected,

If that's the pipe that comes off the triangular body then that doesn't go anywhere, just feed the pipe down the front of the engine

No it just supplies atmospheric pressure to the diaphragm and also keeps fuel away from the manifoilds if the diaphragm ever spilts
