tie rod help!!

After over four years of restoration the five is slowly getting there and sorting through some bits I painted over 3 years ago I came across this tie bar. Probably is I don`t know where it goes:confused:

Its not the gearbox to engine bar or a subframe to chassis bar (I need a os one though if anyone has got one)??

So where does it go?? any help or detail pictures would be lovely :)

Take a pic of the offending bar and post it up. I agree with sparkie, its probably for the exhaust

yer when i see vale last week and he described the bar to me i said im sure it sounds like the downpipe support on the back of the block
