Guys im pulling my hair out by the clump:scratch:
My NS brake light doesn't work, the tail does.
I have swapped clusters over and the OS working doesn't on the NS
And the Not working NS works on the OS so i know the clusters are ok.
I have checked voltages on all wires to the cluster and both sides are identical when brake is pressed & depressed.
I really really don't want to start bridging wires and running a wire from the OS brake to NS cluster.

Totally baffed..:confused::confused:

The light electrical clip that attaches to cluster isn't upside down is it? I did this once and started attacking loom :ashamed:

Not sure but they were both connected the same way and OS worked fine

Turn it upside down and try? If you're getting good voltages and earths are good should work?:confused:

Thanks V man, thought id check again as i didn't actually know which way the clip was supposed to go on but know they were on the same way and OS worked fine,
i tried turning it around as you suggested, when i put it back to how i had it, i noticed that the brake light came on then went off as i slid it on!

The clip was the right way round, BUT the connector attached to the white cable (supplies power to brake light) was snapped inside between cable and front.
Blob of Solder on it, stuck it back in and VOILA!

2 weeks of fricking hell doing my brain in.
The missus is gonna get it tonight lol

Cheers Buddy for the response, i wouldn't have checked again this evening and most probably carried on checking loom all weekend.
:D:D:D:D:D
Nothing worse then getting someone pull up beside you at the lights expecting "Nice car mate, aint seen them for ages", but instead "You know your brake lights out"!
