As coops managed to beat me to it HERE (http://www.rtoc.org/boards/showthread.php?t=34052) :rolleyes: :laugh:, the Club did have an official photographer at this years ND and we will be selling CD's to the members.
This time you can PRE-ORDER your CD's through the CLUB SHOP (http://www.rtoc.org/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=21&products_id=112&zenid=d83vdc752jn15b75th2bquffm6), and then when we get enough people pre-ordered, we will order the CD's and ship them out to you. (We are giving people a month to cover everyone's pay-day)

I thought there were only 20 :scratch: put into the Club Shop Dale & it's showing 15 left now so I thought that's only 5 sold?
Either way I think the club should get this moving. It's been long enough for people to save up for a Picture CD now :coffee: Perhaps buy a few for the Shop to sell as spares?
Counted number from shop sales, I will find out who was dealing with this as I don't know what has been decided on purchasing these.
Steve was dealing with it but then I kept a list of sales but there weren't many.

As an alternative, could we not load the CD thumbnails to a Photobucket esque website, and if people then wanted actual full size pictures, they Paypal the club shop a given amount & said picture(s) get emailed to the person?
I'm not a tight ass ;) but I wouldn't pay £x for a CD load of pictures to find out there's only 1, or worse, none, of my car.
Which, given I didn't take Whitey out on track, is probably the case anyway :D

:crap: Gawd everything is such a effort in this club. I'm so pleased I'm out of organising anything for it now. :rolleyes:
It's not as if the Photographer is earning a kings ransom for standing there all day in the sweltering heat at Blyton 2013 taking pictures of us all day? The CD's are under £20 each and (quite rightly) the RTOC are earning a couple of quid for each CD to go back into the club coffers.
We had the Photographer there last year and his CD's were well recieved so I thought it was natural to have him there again this year. We sold a fair few number of track tickets so you would assume that a few of these people would want pictures of their car going round the track.
If you didn't drive your car on the track then Its a fair assumption that you won't have many pictures of your car on the day. But what you will have is High Resolution pictures without watermarks of everyones cars driving round that you can look back on in years to come. A keepsake.
Why should the club pay for the CD and then give everyone free access to the images. I'd do alright out of it as my car was on track for a few times in the day so the money the club spends would be fine for me. But as Mart has mentioned he wasn't on track so the money the club spends in his name wouldnt give him any return.

A delay is fine - zero contact/responses is not!
And that isn't directly aimed at you.......but to be fair to everyone that's paid, it's time to get this sorted one way or another.
I get it.........it's always a time/man power issue, but fairs fair at the end of the day, you pay your money, you get your goods.
If it's needed,forward me whatever details you/the club/Steve whoever has and I will happily get on the case?

What an utter pile of ****e.......I would have loved some pics of my car on track, but it does seem that to keep people in the picture is too much to ask.
