Ok, D386CNP is getting better, bit by bit. Engine rebuilt, front chassis repaired ( thanks to whoever botched that, unbelievably dangerous.) lol.
But I am having a nightmare with the oil electrics side. The oil pressure gauge sometimes works, so does the oil level, but both only work sometimes.
The white bar above the oil gauge is always on with the dash. Should it only come on when the gauge switches to pressure? / engine runs ?
I have cleaned the harness behind the nearside headlight, checked the wires / connectors are ok, but on the Haynes diagram it doesn't say which way around the orange / brown wires go on the pressure sender and level sender.
Something weird is the oil pressure warning light works, but the gauge doesn't. It is a new pressure sender. I would have thought that would mean these wires are the right way around?
Any help plz?
