Did you preload the actuator. Take Inlet pipe of to see if it's spinning.

have you blanked off the integral dump valve?

KEV 5 GT

Take pipe off to airfilter to check it's spooling.

i was pointing at the Actuator myself not 100% how you mean plumbed in proper theres only 1 port on it and i just pulled the pipe off t2 Actuator

Fair enough :)
Seen all sorts over the years, from no vacuum to one being connected to the breather one way value :)
Turbo seized ?
Major leak ?
Waste gate damaged?
You have no boost or low?

Defo tightened the outlet , left mine off a few times:/ = f all va va voom
How loose is the actuator rod? Can u move it out away from the actuator without much effort ?
Does tht bracket move under little load?

KEV 5 GT

it seemed it was the actuator not set right got boost now bit laggy tho kicks in around 3.5/4 and on tickover abit lumpy couldent get lower than about 16.8 afr on the mixture screw ??
is there anything else i need to sort

I always preload the actuators. Take clip off and hold lever closed wind actuator till it fits on then wind in half the circle hole, pull actuator onto wastegate arm and should be close to set. Adjust if needed watching afr's

Sounds like you have an air leak somewhere. Try pressureising the boost circuit.

afrs was spot on before i put t25 on carb seems to be ok to me got a slight blow on elbow i think would that put afrs out ?

NRG

What psi boost you got and have you jetted carb ?

KEV 5 GT
07-07-2013, 20:37
i was doing about 10psi think carb is stock

Exhaust leaks can put afr's out, by that much I don't know tho

Try a gasket on turbo to elbow

Sounds like possibility of a jet being clogged.
