Some may wonder why its called "flower pot" well this engine block came out my cousins garden overgrown and full of water cause i robbed the head off it couple of year ago

And so we start, bare in mind its just been put together with a stardard t2 for now as im still waiting for another flange and downpipe bracket.
when everything turns up it will be swapped to my t25 hybrid after ive been out for a few blasts before taking it off the road for this project :smokin:

Is this going in your white 5? Your a brave man building an engine up in that block, although it's probably just surface rust.

No no no my 5's fully up as running sweet

This engine is purely a jig of old unuseable parts for making exhaust downpipes with :)

Although I have toyed with the idea of machining to accept 80mm pistons and liners haha

this project was on hold as the gf's 125 bike was undergoing a tune up. now with that **** heap out the way I can start the important stuff again

Ignore the flange, it was ordered wrong

Should have enough pipe

http://i723.photobucket.com/albums/ww235/fordy51/Project%20flower%20pot/IMG_1451-1.jpg

guess it goings a bit like this

http://i723.photobucket.com/albums/ww235/fordy51/Project%20flower%20pot/IMG_1449-1.jpg

Mocked up a quick jig so I know where the bottom flange needs to end up.

you can also see the flange prototype resting on the head to work out the best way to make the bend come out without hitting the heater matrix pipes, without trying to turn 90 or more straight from the flange, and also how to make it strong enough on the flange so trying welding inside the flange then running welds on the outside where possible without causing issues with the nuts for the flange.

then I brought nodiz off dean so this is going on between exhaust playing :D

http://i723.photobucket.com/albums/ww235/fordy51/null-1.jpg

and then I got another vnt to fit after the exhaust and nodiz are complete which will mean another exhaust downpipe having to be made as its a 3 bolt outlet :smokin:
