3 wire knock sensor

Hi all, any electrical geniuses out there. Just got a 3 wire knock sensor from aDewoo Majiz. How do I wire this into my ecu? I know one will be a shield, 1 will wire back to the ecu as a signal and one to ground, but I'm sure that I read somewhere that I need to join the shield and the sensor ground together and attach to the sensor ground.

Anyone know for sure?
