Cant adjust actuator rod

With getting my carb setup im ready to make slight adjustments to the boost, only around 5 psi.

I went to adjust the actuator rod, loosend of the nut which was fine but i cannont wind the rod either wsy at all. Ive attached a pic, any ideas?

May be rusted solid or already out of adjustment.How much preload you got?

Mulgrips on the bit with no thread, several days soaking thread in wd40.
or new actuator :)
Think i have one you can have for a fiver + postage.
