Anybody have a spare downpipe kicking around? my brother inlaw of RnD Motorsport in York is willing to make up a batch of enlarged all in one downpipes, big jim style..

I have a spare turbo elbow, but no spare downpipe!

here is an example of his work, he has recently built a rear engined astra using a vectra vxr lump, he can make anything from efi manifolds to custom pipe work.

anyway, hopefully il have an example to pass round at ND if somebody can help out with a downpipe... :D

I am often over in wakfield so can drop off if needed.

I expect it needs to be the big Jim or Boris super sized pipe so he can take measurements from it and make a jig. Otherwise he has to guess and won't know what it's going to rub on, water pipes, etc.

Jim made one with a 5GTT to hand so as to get the position of it exact. I expect Boris also.

There is issues...

Don't think anyone actually has one that works or even received one... Some people got a refund, unsure if anyone is still waiting or what....

Jim has a jig and, IIRC, he'd evolved to making them from two main pieces of pipe plus laser cut flanges. I really don't know why he didn't want to make any more.
