Clio 172 phase 1 blue

Just got myself a clio 172 needs bait of work but nothing that's back braking. What i have found out so far is misfiring problem been told its a injector fault. Also need front brakes and the exhaust string out.
Over all I think should be ok once I sort the problems out and I'm hopeing to take it on a few tracks this year starting with castle Combe on the 19th July

small up date
i have changed the injectors for a spare set i had in the shed and that cleared the major misfire. i got the car down to a mates workshop to charge the back box as for some reason the lad before cut off the ktec box and welded on a chav box and it was way to loud for me. im hopeing to get some pics tomorrow once i pick it up for my mates place.

does any one know if the clio came with oz wheels as std? 16" i think?

Should be 15s on a ph1, ph2 had 16s

just seached google and i think they ae oz ultaleggers and they seem common on the clio's

Different offset tho for the 172s, or width.... Forget now...

The Oz F1's were also available in 16" as a factory option on the ph1. Very rare though.

Only one hundred and something done in that colour for the uk. I think most of them are owned by rtoc members :laugh:

Just another little update the clio has dropped a friend garage for the mot. He's going to fit it in sometime this week so fingers cross.
I have been thinking of tuning the clio with a few mods its got air filter and cat back exhaust from ktec already. next on the list is decat and porting the inlets to match each other and head then maybe remap. Is there any other worth while mods to try on a budget ?
