i wonder if anyone can help, there is a rubber o ring in the cam cover and I can't remember which way to put it, does the spring face in or out
a picture would help

If we are talking c1j engine and its the crank pulley seal then the spring goes inwards as in the oil would be hitting the spring side of the seal .?!
