Hi there,

Would be excellent if anyone could point me in the right direction to what could be the cause to the problem.
I have not got a afr gauge yet but going to order and get this fitted along with my bms front pipe.Just before anyone asks whats it boosting at on the afr's!!

Ive been running my raider for months between this year and last no problems at all!!
Then the other day i took the car for a quick run,let it warm up first as always before driving then when i drive and boost through the gears no problem, when i reach 4th gear the car just seems to stop boosting as if ive hit a wall, just a big jerk?? only in 4th gear does this happen???

If anyone could help on this i would really appreciate it!!!

Many thanks

Change the fuel filter & change the ign components if they are old.

Check the tdc lead isnt sat on the turbo.

Do you have an aftermarket boost gauge? or std? where on the std/aftermarket gauge does it go to??

http://www.renault5gtturbo.com/maintenance.htm

Take a look at that site to see what pressure your running on the std gauge if you need to.

To be honest there's not THAT many things it can be, and won't cost much whatever it is. Start with the above as suggested :agree:
