Just bought some new shocks and a mounting kit as mine are pretty knackered and knocking and grinding.

I'm sure my current shocks aren't assembled right so was wondering if anyone has any pictures of how they are meant to be assembled? I've had a quick search on here but cant find anything.

Order from the Haynes manual is as follows, top to bottom,

1 - Washer and Cup
2 - Mounting plate (Dont forget they are handed)
3 - Rubber (Doughnut)
4 - Bearing
5 - Collar
6 - Spring seat
7 - Coil spring

Although looking at the picture I recon they have 4 and 5 the wrong way around ! and after the rubber donughnut it should be the top hap (collar in Haynes speak) and then the bearing fitting into the spring seat. That's what the picture looks like to me and Dialogys also looks the same. Anyway its number 6 in the suspension section of the Haynes.
