I'm in mate.

What time are we heading off? Can you also put up a map?

Also have a Service Station we can stop at about half way, so others can catch up or meet us there (people coming across country or back roads).

If you can't do this, let me know and i will sort.

Well done, this convoy is your first proper RTOC event you have organised

Lol, funny you should say that,
that's what i had planned, was just gonna contact few others about the leaving time,
AA says over 3 hours but with stops its looking like 4+

This isn't gospel as yet, but my initial idea with maybe 2 stops on the way to meet up with others, stretch legs and let engines cool?
attached initial meeting point too?
Any comments/ideas welcome

Meet 2pm at McDonald’s Bullsmore lane Enfield EN1 4SE
Next door to BP Garage.

Head West on M25 to Jnc23 A1m (2:30)

Head North on A1/M to Jct 11/12 Toddington services arr 3:15
Stop 10-15 mins?

3:30 Head North on A1.

arr 4:30-4:45 Leicester Forest East services? 10 mins and go?

Head north, Exit A1 at Junction 21A and follow A46 to Newark on trent.

5:30-5:45 At Newark on trent,

Take A46 signposted “Lincoln”
then next left take A1133 A156 to Gainsborough.

A159 to Blyton.
Arr 6:30-6:45

Sounds good to me, as long as I can get my fuel pump issue sorted.

Route 1 is what we did last year and route 2 is my usual drive up to Leicester...

I think the first would be better: less mileage/time.

So who is up for meeting us along the way? Where is a good place/service stations/MacDonalds to meet?

Stuart (newbie) - whats up with your fuel pump?

I think we are setting sail from heathrow around 1-2pm so we will probably cross paths on route if your using the M1
