as im fairly new to getting hands on with cars i fancy ripping my carb off and giving it a good clean down and poss refurbing it with one of them club shoppee kits :)
can i just go mad and tear it off...well not tear but remove it or do i have to do anything special.
hopefully thiis comment doesnt seem too ''special''

Only a couple of spanners are needed (10mm,13mm) couple of decent screwdrivers too.

Make note of what pipe goes where and what goes where in the carb or you will be pulling your hair out when its not running right.

Another thing, if its running OK at the moment id leave it be. If it aint broke dont fix it ;)

the car is running...barely.lots of bits needing attention so i thought i might aswell tbh.its came from basically an unknown source would like to right as many ''issues'' as possible so that when its all ready to go i know its been dealt with in a decent manner and not neglected :)
as it stands i think the vacuum pipe work is in the wrong place anyway i will picture it for reference though :)

Both! lol pic of carb be handy for when you put it back together and be good to see a pic of the car ;) need to whip carb off my 11 as doesnt always idle and keeps stalling :ashamed:

i do believe OE is 12mm nuts not 13's :cartman:
