not had this fitted for a while with no issues,who uses it and who does not? anyway i cant remember where it bolts to?

I use it. It's a pain in the backside to put on and off but the amount of times my exhaust scrapes it must relieve some if the stress off the top joint.

It bolts on to the engine block.

I just sourced and fitted one as my car came without - also just fitted a tubular manifold so the bracket is part of what I've done to stop the manifold being put under stress so hopefully won't crack
