What is a thrust bearing, when I bought my car it was apparently fitted with a new clutch but needed a thrust bearing... For the unmechanical new guy can anyone help? :)
Clutch release bearing is what you mean and its a gearbox off job.
Is it making a noise whe driving and when you push clutch noise goes?

(called endfloat)if ur crankshaft moves too much (getting gear may be difficult )u'll need a thrust bearing(one inside the engine)
usually the clutch release bearing gets noisy during operation
