Guys,
My standard oil pressure gauge has packed up aprts from the level sensor so i'm looking in to fitting an aftermarket gauge,

Would i be correct in thinking i need these three items ?

Gauge

If these are ok where is the best place to put in the T-Peice ?

I can't see the link but you want a mechanical gauge and t into the turbo oil feed pipe where the pipe Meets The sender. I'm sure someone on here will know the thread sizes for the t piece or you can just measure your thread;)

i think this is a kit that will fit, no need for extra bits?

does it need to be a mechanical gauge?

could you not fit electronic one and fit another pressure sensor on the banjo were the original one is? something like this......

also have you checked your pressure sensor? I had the same prob with mine, and I took it off and cleaned it up whern I had oil drained, crimped some new spades on the wires and it worked fine:agree:

yea, but if I fitted one knowing my luck it would end up leaking:sad2:

much prefer a electric leak to a oil leak!

Cheers James but i wanted to keep all my gauges the same brand so i needed a Mocal :D

I also wanted a capilary/mechanical gauge but i wasn't sure of all the fittings i'd need,
I've bought the gauge anyway so i'll see if it has a cone or a flat fitting.

Is this a problem with the capilary gauges ? i was thinking about this myself, i don't really fancy hot oil squirting around my dash !!
