After giving the 5 a wash recently the drivers door as become difficult to open. It shuts fine just when u come to open it, it opens slightly then you have to really force it.

Any ideas?

Give the hinges/door pins a good greasing, job done. :agree:

Fixed the door was catching the rubber inbetween body and side skirt!

they definitely do, a job i hate doing anyone got any tips? the ones i did on my last 5 was a nightmare!

Try adjusting the door latch catcher on the door inner. Mine used
To move all the time before I tightened

Its a nightmare mate. Just done mine on the van and its close but not 100%:crap:

Be careful adjusting the striker. I done this and the hinge started ripping off the door over time. Had to pmt a plate behind it to reinforce the door!
