What size downpipe/exhaust do i need?

I've got a T5 360 on my C1j but only a 2" Downpipe/Elbow and 2" Exhaust.
I know i can get a 2¼ DP, then bore my Elbow out but would it make any difference if i dont change my exhaust?

Not keen on a Sidey,
Any suggestions plz?

I don't think a 1.4 will flow more than a 2"so all u can do is get a 2 1/4"dp to reduce turbulence after the turbo!!

I found after fitting my bms one piece downpipe that it took 400rpm of spool up (t28) and it definitely made more power than with the standard downpipe. This was with before and after rolling road sessions ;)

yea i was really after a 2¼ DP with bored Elbow or joined piece and 2¼ exhaust system,
