Hi Antony rich on boost ?.rich on Idle ,what boost are you running , has the carb had a rebuild ? Could be ,many reasons well running rich , if its standard ,buy a carb rebuild kit.go from there

Carb was rebuilt by Sparkie last year , the car has sat in the unit , thou run over the winter , was dribbling into carb , adjusted it to stop it cutting out , doesn't cut out anymore but you can smell the petrol , running 10.5 on the AEM at idle . Going to take it off again and give it a clean

Carb dripping even after stripping and cleaning it , running 10's on idle still , tried adjusting mixture screw , this helps then after it idle's for a while it starts again . running out of ideas .?? any thoughts out there ?

If the carb has been rebuilt, the first thing I'd be doing is cleaning the idle circuit/jet out (big brass screw on the side) stick the straw in that you get on a can of WD40 and squirt a load in (for about 20 seconds) then clean the jet itself out. Also remove the mixture screw and make sure the tip hasn't snapped off. See how it is then..... :)
