My heater fan was switched on and it just stopped and no wont come back on.

Ive checked fusses, what else could
It be??

Open your bonney and try andgiveita tap using a screwdiver. Mine worked inteitently like that till i changed it. :agree:

Could have worn brushes in the motor or carbon build up.

As previously suggested give it a light tap or two with a screwdriver handle- you migh be lucky And move some of the carbon deposits :)

Remove the plastic cage above it and grab the plastic blade. Pull up and the whole assembley will come out, clean the crap off the 2 spade connection on the bottom of the fan. Clean the crap off the 2 connection on the fan base assembles that still bolted to the car. Align the fan up with the base connection and refit. Should sort it.

Make sure the fan is off when doing it !!:D

I find a glass hammer works best ;)

On my old 5, I used to have to punch the dash board whenever I wanted the heater on :laugh:
