This old 1997 mag with my purchase

Evening all. Just got a new 5 and amongst the folder or paperwork is this 1997 GT Eye Mag. I've uploaded the photos for anyone who has not seen this. Unless of course this is old hat and already on the site.

There is also reference to the Benetton edition 5.

I've got stacks of old mags with loads of 5 that been featured. Would take me forever to scan and load them all up, mainly because I don't own a scanner. :laugh:

I think my mum would like them gone from her house... And I don't think that's because of the soft porn pictures on the front of each mag. :cooter:

How to make someone feel old!!!

I was 17 so my driving life had only just began. I lusted after a GT Turbo but still being at school studying for A levels ment that all I could afford was a 1.1L Escort which I picked up for £100.

I still think that when I was 17-21 was the best time to be a young driver. You had RS Turbos, GT Turbos, XR3is, XR2s, Metro Turbos, Uno Turbos, 205 GTis, Mk2 Golfs ets all cruising around town. I have owned must of the fore mentioned during this time.... Surely the Late 90s early 2000s was the best era for being a young lad and owning a car....??
