1. Right my catch tank fills up pretty quick [breather straight from rocker cover ]
It's mainly brownish water its a mocal tank maybe fills in 2 months.

2. I've just topped up my coolant but it's not using anywhere near as much as I'm getting in the catch tank.

3. Absolute minimum amount if mayo under filler cap.

4. When driving steady on the motorway I can hear a rumble / burble from the engine every few seconds.

5. If I put my ear to the filler cap on the rocker cover with the engine running I can hear a spluttering every few seconds.

My catch tank was full the other day without me realizing and I lost alot of power untill it was emptied.
I'm guessing with it full some of the water might have come back in the engine.

Am I going mad. Fml

The engine breathes, it wont suck water back in from catch tank lol.

It sounds fine to me. The main reason its filling up with water is due to not big enough & not enough ventilation. Every 2 months is nowt. Worry if it fills up with oil.

This is why i use a 2ltr robinsons bottle with holes in the top ;)

You probably nee to change ign parts if its hestating on motorway.

Ok cheers big lad.
I havnt changed the dizzy cap / arm like ever so it's been at least 9 years. I'll do that.

I meant the water in the breather pipe might have drained back in once I'd turned off. :scared:
Im changing oil this week so see how it goes.
