Ok I've built an engine up but due to change of heart and mind set I wish to sell the parts in the title ideally as a whole.

This means the fitted rods to the pistons need not leave one another and ultimately can stay in the liners thus not effecting the piston rings.

This is all brand new parts, on a never before run engine,

So this would be ready to get the correct bearing shells and attach to a crank and go, oh of course liner seals too.

Gauging interest in truth.

Pistons/rods are forged
Liners I reckon are perfect circle although I got them in a deal and was told they are steal, so I'll price them as P.C liners not steal.

Looking for around £1000 as all new and pistons are pressed onto rods etc

Based in Surrey, I think it's a good deal but shoot me down as per normal god I'm depressed where iam right now.

Pm, also collection preferred but postage can be arranged.

(Also bear in mind iam in hosp parts need dis assembling)

Anything that can be has been done! Tony aka fish head did it. Very very good quality of work it looks exceptional.

I'd sell with manifolds etc as they are matched

I genuinely don't know how to tell them apart.

I'd rather not have to break it up unless I have interest in all parts seperatly.

I'll do you a deal pete for the lot ;)

Sorry bud it wasn't aimed at you. Just a bit of a thread hijac as I was sold some liners a few years back. I got told there are steel liners but they not look any different to cast ones to me.

Tell the difference by tapping two steel liners together and then do the same with 2 cast version and the ping / ting sound is very different for steel versions appearance wise they look the same.

I suppose the rust test is the easiest way to find out. If u clean the liner with brake cleaner to remove any oil then put some salty water on them the cast iron will rust up and steel won't. :)

Both would rust, they aren't stainless...

Very tempted by this, but won't happen for a month or two for me. Would like to take the bottom end complete.

A spark test will determine the type of metal. Get your grinder out.
