When cornering, or going round roundabouts, get a strange turning vibration/ slightly loose sensation through the steering wheel, doesnt do it in a straight line and am not literally throwing the car into corners or off roundabouts, if anything taking it steady as it doesnt inspire confidence! I was thinking the problem could be worn driveshafts or mounts, possibly wheel bearings?

Sounds like worn ball joint(s) to me.

Sounds silly mate but just check your wheel nuts are tight, I had this problem and turned out one of my front wheels had worked itself loose! Or maybe I didn't tighten it up properly :ashamed::rolleyes:

like said 1st check wheel bolts
then id jack it up and spin all wheels, check bearings and for any play. Also i had same problem, roll pin had come out of driveshaft, so was vibrating, new roll pin/or right size split pin sorted mine

Check wheel bearings.

also check your drivers side driveshaft where it meets the inner joint my split pin came out and the shaft was sliding out, made a horrible collapsing wheel bearing noise when turning left mostly.

Ok thanks chaps, balljoints have been replaced in last few years, 8k miles ago, never
replaced wheel bearings in the 9 & half years ive had the car but will check wheel bolts, bearings, balljoints & driveshafts :)
