as where on the subject...
how do folks check the head for flatness.? what methods?
i used to used the edge of a metal ruler,
i now use a flat pane of glass - lightly coat the face of the head - sit the head on the glass - lift head off glass and check that all the head has been in contact with the glass by checking the oil print left behind.
any other pikey way to check the straightness.?
did use that too dudes, found p seager, should have it sorted 2moz cheers

use the edge of a steel rule . you can't guarentee that glass is dead flat
