Whats this?

Hi guys,

Im new to the 5 scene and engines in general. Today i removed the dump valve on my raider and when i did i found what looks to be like a sensor sat on top of the turbo not connected to anything....
i followed the cable back and it heads towards the bottom of the carb. should it be connected? and where too? the cars running fine so a bit unsure as what to do......

Its one of the sensors for the anti perc fan. Its usually fitted into the turbo heatshield. If the perc fan has been removed you could disconnect it.

Ok, cable tie it to the bracket above the turbo down pipe then. (Bracket with the green tube thingy fixed to it as seen in your picture.) :agree:
