distributor o ring?

Is there any type of gasket or o ring used between the distributor and the block, do I need to put anything there? I can't seem to remember oil leaking out from there before I took it off the road but it looks like it needs something, maybe a bit off silicone smarm:D

Should be a paper gasket mate.

Paper gasket as said. It's round in shape.
