11 turbo ph1

Hey guys just want to share one of my too many Renault turbo cars. This one is a 2 owner 11 turbo 3 doors ph1 with some curious extras from factory such as Air condition. Anyway i want to ask if someone has ever seen a 11 turbo in this colour before? Original factory colour off course.

Nice phase 1 11 turbo mate, not seen one in that colour before! mines a phase 1 11 turbo in black with red and grey seats, - however no aircon! :)

A 3 door black ph1 is a very charming car indeed.
even thow i have the aircon it is not working at the moment :sad2:
i might have to change the sistem to the up to date pipes and fittings :sad:

Sorry guys this is the only picture of the engine bay i have available at the moment, as soon as i get near the car when i am over in summer holidays i will take pictures of the complete sistem:cool:

all you need are the low side and high side adapters. - use hella pao oil and r134a gas. - fill quantity is approx 75% of the r12 amount. -can be cheaply done :)

steve - look at the clio 172 ac system. i'd swear you could mod it to fit the r11....

I belive the biggest issue to do so is to adapt the ac pump to the engine block. other wise i see no problem

The A/C pump bolts on the back of the block from memory below the manifolds. Remember looking at a jap 5 with A/C on.

As i remember mine sits under the alternator.
