Does anyone have any recommendations for underbody and wheel arch seal/protection paint that drys hard, as opposed to the Waxyoil stuff that is sticky when dry?

There's a brush on underseal I used on the 21 made by tetrosyl I think.

It was so thick I broke it down a tad with thinners. After that it brushed on lovely and dried nicely too

i used the brush on tetroseal to fill any areas then Spray schultz everywhere :D great stuff. messy as hell tho, and waxoiled inside the sills/chassis legs.

TFFT - I emptied an entire can on the floor of my garage after too much pressure was had.

Is this Stotty proof?

Por-15

is sh1t..

brush it on bare metal and it'll peel off like a £500 blowover..

i took a wire wheel to all my arches, found rot, repaired and por15'd it all but not happy with it.. gotta take it all off, slap some bilt hamber rust treatment about, acid etch, paint/top coat or stonechip, seam sill, then i might go with por 15 to finish..

im sure there was a process to follow for using it, but on all the bits i see it just seems to say you can just brush it on.. :crap:

Anyone tried the Hammerite Stonechip Shield spray on cans?

Por 15. Used it on my van, absolutely hard as nails. None has flaked off even when jacking it up. Dont get it on your skin, i spent 3 hours trying to get it off my face with celly thinners. The tin says it comes off your skin with time apparantly lol.

Underseal is ok but it never covers everything unless you apply it with a gun. Always looks a bit bodgy asid your hiding lots of rust with it
