hi guys just wondered after the success of our first rr meet at noble motorsport if you would be up for another one around mid august time?

or would we all like it at a different venue? iv added a poll from which you can select what you would prefer.

:agree: bit of a treck from kent:crap: but if that's where it is I may be interested. On the subject where is the best place to go for a rolling road tune up down my neck of the woods? I've got BD engineering on my doorstep but not sure if he knows a r5 enough for me to trust him.

After national day my rolling road days are over, I can't take the nerves - "please don't blow up! Please don't blow up":laugh::laugh::wasntme:

If one gets off the ground, personally I think it should be at Scoffs no question - he is well respected on here and I think the club and members should support his business - it's a reasonable trek for me but I'd make the effort:agree:

^^^^

This.

A good chance to support one of our own and someone who knows our cars inside out.

Also August is only 1 month after national day which has a rolling road. Would September/November be better?

i have thought the same but i wanted to give the members chance to vote on where they want the day to be as fair as possible.
my idea of august is on the thinking of if we have a summer:beer: then hopefully weather will still be decent then :)
Iv got no probs in putting the date to a vote once the venue is confirmed:agree:

Here here.

Good shout JP - we could make this a mini adventure for all southern / eastern members that have not had the privilege of Scoffs facilities / knowledge. It would give the Northern contingency a chance to show the Southerners / Eastern ponces what a night out is all about. RR Saturday - out in the PM. Cant really see any issues.

I don't mind an adventure but a round trip up there with my thirty 5 it would set me back easily just short of £200. I only get around 180 mile with £50 quid.

My god thats bad fuel consumption, thats returning you :-

Approx £5 per gallon

5x10=50=10 gallons

= 180/10 = 18 mpg

Some of the best RR/rtoc events I've been to in the past is when there was a night out on the beers in the local town afterwards. Block-book several rooms at a B&B/Premier-Inn or the such like in advance, and it doesn't work out too expensive then.

Just an idea...

:)

i was also thinking we could make it a wkend event, maybe all go for a curry/beers on the sat night etc
