Hi Guys,
I'm getting the dreaded "double rate speed" ticking on indication when Indicating "Right".

I Cleaned & WD40'd the 1st connectors from F/O/S indicator & repeater light and then the 2nd one on the front Indicator.

I swapped all lights from Near Side (which i know that work) and the same issue occurs.
I put them back on the N/S and they still work so its defo not the bulbs as ive got spare new ones which ive tried them too.

If i put hazards on, i get normal tick tock rfom relay but the F/O/S indicator & repeater do not flash but other lights do.

Any ideas please?
Thanks

Take the indicator out and under the headlight from the front there will be a grey plastic plug that goes to the indicators and the fogs I think. Pull that apart and push back in slightly and see if that works. If it does the connector is at fault may be ok with a bit of a clean.

No mate. Its on the front side under the headlamp.
See the bolt with all the wires going to it under the bottom right of the headlamp in my pic...that :)

just take headlight out. easier than bumper off.

You may get away with just grille and indicator.

Cheers Guys,
I took Bumper & grill off as i wanted to get to the front of the bolt.

I used a wire drill bit to go to bare metal on the hole, two little flangey connector things and the bolt used to earth it (see pic).

Bolted it back on, checked indicator and was working fine! ;):smokin:
**Then**
Put the grill & Bumper back on, rewired fogs, jumped in now both front indicators don't work and its fast clicking when i indicate left or right ..

Pull out front indicator you have the connector which goes to front indicator and side repeater, this normally plays up, either clean and make sure pins are locating ok and good contact or remove the connector block and rewire it, not best way of resolving the problem though.
