Im replacing front suspension on the 11 turbo and bought some bellows/covers. When I took the front struts off there were no bellows/covers on the shocks. Were these fitted as new to protect the rod from muck etc, or should they not have them on
I dont think mine had any on? I sort of remember some bump stops though. It probably wont do any harm fitting some if they dont foul anything.

Thanks mate, ill try them on the shocks and see what they are like, funny as didnt have any on yet sold for renault 11's on ebay, -probably says it all lol.
Yeah the bump stops are fitted to top of the spring cups. I know 5's definitely have the bellows/covers on. :)

You can make new ones out of steering rack gaiters and a sharp knife :)

I dont know what I used many years back, I just went shopping in my local parts place and found one that looked big enough, then topped and tailed it. Shoulda kept the part number lol
