ok so the plan is to buy an auto 5, and swap it to a manual.

What do you guys think would be the cost of doing this?

Parts wise I need

Manual gearbox
Clutch
Clutch Cable
flywheel?
Pedals (clutch and Brake)
Gearstick plus rod
Speedo Cable?

all advice appreciated.

list looks pretty good, I don't know if the gearbox mounts are the same, you aught to check that out too.

I really dont know what a gearbox mount is.

same as an engine mount... only it supports the gearbox instead of the engine itself... it's basically the same thing mate

Ide like to say im doing it myself but im not. Im simply going to collect the parts and hand them over to the Jedi master that is MarkyMark (BD)

Needing some estimates on total part cost secondhand.

Driveshafts has thrown me though.

Why are you doing the swop out of interest.

it must be a bloody good 5 to bother doing that lot to it.

Found a nice Renault 5 but its an auto, its for the brow in law to learn. Hence the need for a manual box.

I've seen very nice, very clean Renault 5's sell for pennies. You must have found something very special indeed. Is the current owner offering you a free boot full of crisp £20 notes with it?

No. Good question though.
