do you know what attatches on to this?

here is some pictures of my rocket cover. before the mechanic done my head gasket im sure there was something on here but cant say 100% so do any of you know what should be on the silver stem to stop the smoke from my rocket cover.

yes... as a part of the breather system... hose goes from the pipe to the oil separator pot

have a look at the drivers side of your engine bay, cliped up near the water pump is a pot-like object with a thin pipe from the bottom of it leading to the sump. there should be a thick pipe comming from your cover to that pot, sounds like your missing it.

yeah thers a little blak plastic 90 deg bend on the rocker
pain in the arse if it breaks

get one from cgb for 3 quid or somthin

well i have done that bit now i found the pipe that needs to go on and have replaced it so that should sort out the smoking problem from the engine bay.

One more word of advice... GET A HAYNES!!! ;)

No really... it's a must have for anyone who's new to the R5 scene... lots of the questions you have will be answered in that book and it has lots of pictures to help visualise everything :)
