• Balthazar King 20/1 EW
Already in to 16s at a lot of other bookies, it's obvious why! A great jumper who loves this ground he's been backed heavily. Excellent stamina, likes the ground and will be fresh as hasn't run since November.

• Rare Bob 22/1
Doesn't mind good ground, Dessie Hughes has an excellent record, and one of the best jockeys this year in Bryan Cooper on board. He has a lot of experience over fences and has only ever fallen once, and this consistency could well be rewarded.

• Forpadydeplasterer 66/1
Some may remember him from winning the Arkle at Cheltenham 23 years ago, owned by the legendary Goat Racing Syndicate. Trained for this race and with a decent winter under his belt, he's at a low handicat (11-0lb) and has previously run and placed at Aintree.

I got sea bass @ 8-1 & on his own at 8-1. Each way. Anything can happen at the national lol
