I'm using wossner's, HAndy and JP do too but I've heard a few people just the standard piston machined down to lower the comp ratio.

I very much doubt anyone hiding much on here, not sure what the norm is but if you look in the projects section I think there are a few f7 builds going on.

As oli points out I run wossner pistons but I do have a set of std pistons which have been machined to a lower cr :) was going to build a second engine for a clio I have but don't have the time :)

how are the pec rods i saw they had some problems in the past do they need work to fit or the sizes is are fine

Don't forget if you use f4r rods you will need to use f4r bearing's or f9q bearing's:agree:

I did post a pic sometime back of the comparison of F7p, F4r and K-tec H rods for F7p/r next to each other but I can't find pic's:crap:

Tanks for the info i did int now that any more info on the pec rods how is the quality and what bhp have been they tested on the f7

I think Robbie is up to 506bhp

its the crank i would be more concerned with long term with bigger hp amounts:scared:

Can someone give more info what this means?

I'm asking since all forged conrods are sold as F4R/F7R/F7P compatible. What bearing to use then?
