Mmm engine could go into my red 5... Sell the shell... Mmm ideas ;)
Is the one that was up for sale a few months back? Remember a red phase 1 in Bedfordshire on a C plate.
Believe the coupe I just moved on to Sam fish was earlier number 90. That must be B reg material

front wheel camber looks a bit suspect.
That's clearly been in a front end shunt....

No, it's a different one mate. I went to see the one in Luton and had a spin in it. I nearly bought it, but I was really after a phase 2.
He says at the bottom he wants £3k!
What a total dreamer. This advert has disaster zone written all over it.

Lol he wants £950 as it is Trev. If he finishes it he'll ask 3K.

If we're thinking of the same car (C reg red phase 1), the bloke who was selling it on eBay pulled it right at the last minute as the bidding hadn't reached £1000 (think it was around the £900 mark).
A few days later it appeared for sale on Car & Classic for £1250. I went over to see it, and generally it was okay but there were lots of niggles with it. I can't remember the number plate, but the reason I think it's a different one is that the engine bay is completely different. The one in Luton had loads of red hoses, whereas this current one on eBay doesn't;)

There is another one owned by stu up north. Sure seen a few others on the C plate
I kinda wish I had bought it now...I so nearly did. I had the cash in my pocket, but for some reason I walked away. It was a sort of gut feeling, buy i may have been wrong and it could be a great car!
