Hi, new to ownin a 5 and before refitting engine and gettin it sprayed i was wonderin what everyones preference is on the best clutch to fit, only runnin standard power, whole car is standard except exhaust.
not too bothered on price cos i will save on labour costs

If keeping it standard I would go for a sachs clutch as seem easily available from a lot of suppliers and they are cheap, if looking at getting more power out of it later on, could look at a valeo clutch from the volvo 1.7 but it will be a lot stifferon the pedal.

As I remember they r quite heavy on clutch anyway aren't they?
I haven't driven one for 12 years lol.
Keepin standard but may turn boost a little.
I have a t25 sar here but not fittin it yet as I recall standard they were nippy

My transmech clutch has been fantastic at 200hp 200lbsft everyday. And around 35quid. It's the 1.8 Volvo job.

Standard clutch is not heavy at all, feels same as any other standard car that you can drive of similar age and size

When I drove it I was drivin a 3 year old car when the 5 was 10 year old.
Right time to do some shoppin
