Hi, new to ownin a 5 and before refitting engine and gettin it sprayed i was wonderin what everyones preference is on the best clutch to fit, only runnin standard power, whole car is standard except exhaust.
not too bothered on price cos i will save on labour costs
Cheers
Russ
If keeping it standard I would go for a sachs clutch as seem easily available from a lot of suppliers and they are cheap, if looking at getting more power out of it later on, could look at a valeo clutch from the volvo 1.7 but it will be a lot stifferon the pedal.

My transmech clutch has been fantastic at 200hp 200lbsft everyday. And around 35quid. It's the 1.8 Volvo job.

Ok nice one. I will have a look.
Should be 200mm diameter?
Standard clutch is not heavy at all, feels same as any other standard car that you can drive of similar age and size
