basicaly i sold a moped i had in 2009 without sending logbook off, im moved address now i got a letter through sayin tht i got to pay 80 or they will take me to court, i jus want to no if i pay this will i then have to declare it scrapped but how do i do this without log book ?

do you remember the reg of the moped?
if so you can get the vin etc from a friendly carparts place.
then write a letter stating its been scrapped + the reg and the vin numbers etc and the date scrapped,
the dvla then send you a message saying its been processed.
BUT if some twonk then runs a red light with it, the police will still send the stuff out to you, as you were the last previous owner the dvla has listed.
