Cutting out

Hi guys, I was driving home from ace cafe last night and my car started popping and then cut out I noticed the afr gauge go into 17 then off the gauge, car started and idled at 14.5 but when I rev it would rev a few times the afr's would go mega lean then the car would die, managed to crawl home but as soon as I try to rev the engine it would just cut out, any ideas what this could b. thanks.

Probably an air leak on the inlet manifold.

Check the basics first. Check the idle jet isnt blocked, check the breather hoses to inlet for splits if your running o.e setup. If you have a dumpvalve check the diaphragm isnt split.

Just thought mike do you still have the restrictor in your breather pipe work?

check the fuel sender filter in the bottom of the tank you can take it all out from the top of the tank under your rear seats;)

Yes Still have restrictor in breather system.

Sounds like to fuel starvation to me. Is the pump running and does it sound like a pump or a bang of nails?
