what paint on sump

Alright so who out there has painted there sump? Do I need to use heat resistant paint or will any old rattle can do me.

I just use a can of hammerite on most thing, even the block.

I think I just used hammerite in a spray can.... Never peeled/flaked of I know that :D

i got mine done by bodyshop at work, left it with them said to paint it in any black they are using. Had it back a week later, just normal car paint - sumps dont get to hot so dont NEED high temp paint. Lovely gun finish and its been fine for last 500miles.

Key is to degrease them well for longetivity (sp?)
