Anyone had any dealings with the above company?
I bought some brake lines off them some time ago and one of them started weeping. Called them, they agreed to have a look at it as they offer a lifetime guarantee, sent it off and heard nothing back for over a week. Sent them a few e-mails over the next 4 days with no responses then got the line back this morning.
I'm glad they have replaced it FOC, but what a wind up not responding to questions. Is this normal for them?
I dealt with Ben when I purchased my turbo feed pipe+filter.
I can't fault them as such, but did find that 'I' had to do the customer service role, ie keep chasing (I am inpatient also to be fair) and I did everything over the phone! - having said this though, I deal with companies on a daily basis and very very few are good at keeping the contact going!
For what it's worth, koni UK have been shocking too:wasntme:
I just think its the way of things now, unless you deal with the likes of John Lewis........but obviously not for car parts:wasntme:
I've bought a couple of things off them (Ben I think I dealt with?) and has no issues at all. I agree, they should have answered your questions. Hopefully the lines will be fine now though.

Forgot about that.
seems no change there then. I'll be sourcing my brake / oil lines else where in future. Take no time at all to say ' got it, we'll be looking at it next year some time' or whatever.
:(
just got a inline oil feed top service from ben
Ben had endless good feedback from RTOC members over the years. This club is where his business started and his service was always excellent.
Be aware, two people with bad experiences does not make the company a bad one to deal with or to steer clear of.
That's not to say either of those two instances were excusable, customer service should always be prompt and communicative and it looks as though you didn't get either Andy. At least the outcome was positive if nothing else :agree:

As I stated Trever - I was happy I got it no quibbles, I just cannot stand ignorance on any level. It's one of those things that really gets me angry, like letting someone through on the road and them blanking you. So for me poor customer service don't get my vote. But to be clear, they sorted it no questions asked and for that I'm a happy bunny.

Please don't let this turn into a slag of Hel / Hose solutions. My original query was in respect to other peoples dealings with them, that's all. So far it looks like it's just me, they must have had a stacked week.
If anything I'll start another thread called ' I hate it when people don't respond to .....'

LOL - not just me then, I find it bizzare, I could do time for murder it winds me up that much  and other things that get people going just don't bother me.
Weird aint it bad manners do my head in but everything else i am laid back about
Andy, which bit of "customer service should always be prompt and communicative and it looks as though you didn't get either", did you miss in my post?
I was supporting you whilst telling others that this is unusual for Ben. There is no issue here.

Ah right - that explains this - I had titled the e-mails 'FAO Ben' mystery over. Apologies to anyone offended.
