Got ready to take the bike out for a blast only to find a bone dry tank

I knew the tank was low but thought I left enough to make it to the petrol station. What a :jerkoff:

It's a long old walk to the nearest petrol station :(

You became one of "those guys" :dearme:

Don't bikes have fuel gauges these days? I remember a mate used to check his by looking in the tank, once it was a little dark so used his lighter...he needed some new eyebrows and pants.

Some bikes have a fuel tank valve on, I left mine open once for a period of time, lost a full tank of full :(

I will get another bike this year! :)

Needed to get a bike for the commute to work, use it rain or shine all year round. + Its a buzz spanking it about, much more of an adrenalin rush than a car!!

It does have a gauge but it has a mind of its own, comes on way too early. Oh we'll, off I trudge.

Just got back too. I like it being a bit chilly, keeps you sharp when you're on one!

Chris - you will not regret getting a bike, trust :)
