I've wondered for a while what this is so I thought i may as well ask.
The 2 circled red are the usual bleed screws, but what is the brass one that I've circled green?

It's just a brass version of the plastic bleed screw. To be honest you want brass all round as plastic ones are prone to cracking and thus leaking. Over £2 a pop at Renault , lol.

Over £2.50  haha.
But why is there a third one? I've been scared to turn it incase it all goes wrong.

Lol, don't know what happened there.

Anyway, just FYI, I think the order for bleeding the coolant curcuit is rad hose first, then the other two on the smaller pipes. No doubt Paul B will tell us all otherwise. :wasntme:

I imagine because on the Ph1 coolant circuit, both matrix hoses are a trap for air and therefore it helps to have a bleed screw on both. :agree:

Look at it this way... if there were 1 bleed nipple, it would take an age to bleed properly... ;)
