Mine was brunters nat day in 2006. Been to just about every event since! Both in the UK and abroad. You gotta put yourself out there to get something out of rtoc :)

Pod 2005, i remember being astounded at the amount of gtt's in the field, i was also amazed at both scoff and sparkie changing headgaskets both in the day and evening:laugh: the sight of an engine in bits was all a bit scary for me at the time:scared:

Rolling road day at falkland performance , unsure of year but we were in a magazine called fast and modified (mag is no more) I'm sure i have a copy somewhere will see if I can scan it in, Miller and the misses were there and if I remember correctly Mudslinger was still in the process of EFI ing his motor and turned up with a shiney new head he had just picked up fresh from Renault so must have been a while ago (sh#t im getting old):)

But been to almost every if not all ND's since and loads of track days which kind of fed into the original Spa, Nurburgring trips, building to the 1st No bling at the ring :D and so forth

And as Ricardo has already said met some of my best friends :agree: epic stuff all in all

Wonder how life would have turned out if I never purchased that slightly crap example of a red (pink) GT turbo all those years from stoke on trent followed by the black project car which went to VNT until snett killed it, then a VERY nice silver example (remember been so hung over at snetterton I did not want to drive it all day on track lol) and then the VAG conversion after selling it to chris H

Would never have met most of you and lesser my life would have been for it

Long live the RTOC and 75% of its owners without Renualts now :wasntme:

but my 1st meet was in derby at the KFC car park one sunday morning 2005 I THINK that was,i rem notnormal car was there i think it was so so low there was another one a red 5 gt turbo that must of been lowered on the rear at least 50mm prob even more:cool::laugh:i did have a picture of it but cant find it
